Sandwich Making Tips

For each type of sandwich follow these steps. Most sandwich makers make two sandwiches, so start with four slices of bread. If you shop ahead of time, pick up some cinnamon or cinnamon raisin bread, or some other fruit or sweet bread. In a pinch, any bread you have on hand will do.

First butter one side of two slices of bread. You can sprinkle them with sugar or cinnamon sugar now if you like for a crispy sweet crust. Place these two slices in the sandwich maker. Place a tablespoon of filling on each slice of bread. Top with the other two slices. Butter and sprinkle with sugar, if desired. Close and cook according to your sandwich makers directions.
